The timetable
and schedule has been introduced for HIP EPC energy certificate as part of
the EPBD Energy Performance of Buildings
Directive legislation in conjunction with the HIP Home Information Pack. In addition, an EPC Schedule for energy
performance certificates has also been confirmed, this includes Commercial
Buildings and Social Housing.

|
As from 1st
August 2007, the UK HIP programme will be rolled out , in future,
property sales in England and Wales will require an Energy Performance Certificate
(EPC) or an optional HCR home condition report. Commercial
building owners and occupiers, together with social housing registered social
landlords (RSL's) e.g. Housing Associations across England &
Wales will be required to meet the deadlines set out below.
|
The details below outline the HIPs and EPC's programme deadlines for the roll out.

Commercial
Buildings: The schedule detailed below is the latest published
timetable affecting the commercial property sector. These

the domestic market, inspection of these property's will be
carried out by an authorised commercial energy assessor.

on the type, and use of the building some private landlord's and
social housing landlord's (RSL's) will be affected by the new
